Tooth-Colored Fillings

Cavities used to be repaired with silver amalgam fillings. For a more pleasing look, we use tooth-colored fillings, so only you and your dentist will know that the tooth is filled! Ask us about it at your next appointment.

Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays are made of tooth-colored porcelain or composite materials and are used to fill decayed or damaged teeth. These are used in cases that require more than a regular filling. Inlays and onlays are created in a dental lab and then bonded into place by your dentist. Inlays are used when the repair is in the center of the tooth, and onlays include one or more points of the tooth or cover the biting surface. These options preserve healthy portions of tooth and can be an alternative to crowns.

Crowns

Crowns can be cosmetic as well as restorative. They are used to restore a tooth to normal function and/or to cosmetically cover misshapen or very discolored teeth.

Implant Restoration

If you have a dental implant that is new or an implant that needs the crown replaced, contact us immediately for an appointment. Bring your crown if it has fallen off or cracked; we may be able to repair it for use rather than order a new one.

Bonding

When a tooth is cracked or damaged, bonding can be used to reshape the tooth. A tooth-colored composite material is applied to the tooth and hardened with a light. Your dentist then shapes and polishes it.
